Effective September 29, 2026. These terms govern the Sowens Studios website and apps (Stocked, Sesh, Nova, AppPulse, Let’s Date, Atlas, Steady, The Know and GIR). By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps from the App Store; if the two conflict on a point, the more protective term for you controls.
Who may use the apps
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission. Sesh is only for adults of legal age (21+ in the United States) in places where cannabis use is legal. Do not use the apps where prohibited by law.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use each app on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple’s usage rules. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or use the apps to build a competing service, except as the law allows.
Your content and sources
You keep ownership of what you add. You give us only the permission needed to store, sync and process it to run the features you use. You are responsible for having the right to use the content and sources you add and for following applicable laws and third-party terms. Nova does not provide, host or license media, and does not give permission to access it. Stocked recipes shown from other sites remain the property of their publishers.
Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features are sold through the App Store in your local currency, with the full price shown before you buy. We do not add fees on top of the price Apple shows. Prices, taxes and billing, cancellation and refund handling are managed by Apple; see our refund policy. Third-party services you connect (for example Real-Debrid) are billed and governed by those providers.
Responsible use
Sesh does not provide medical advice and does not facilitate buying or selling; never drive or operate equipment while impaired. Steady and other planning features are informational and are not financial, tax, legal or medical advice. Stocked and Atlas provide guidance you should verify, especially for allergies, food safety, medications and safety-critical tasks. Do not rely on any app for emergencies. GIR server operators and users remain responsible for their communities, moderation decisions, permissions and Discord’s terms.
Accounts and community
Do not impersonate others, harass people, bypass safety controls, upload unlawful or infringing material, or interfere with the service. We may limit or end access to protect people or the service, and will tell you why where we reasonably can. You can stop using an app and request deletion at any time.
Availability and changes
Features, testing access, compatibility and availability can change. Preview and in-development features may be incomplete. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
Third-party software and content
Our apps include open-source components under their own licences; see Licenses. Third-party services are provided by their owners.
Warranty disclaimer and liability
To the extent the law allows, the apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Back up important data.
Termination
You may stop using the apps at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms. Sections that by nature should continue (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Sowens Studios is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer laws where you live still apply. Please contact us first at support@sowensstudios.com so we can try to resolve any concern.
